At this time, Kingwood Functional Health & Mobile IV Services does not accept health insurance.

Many of the services we provide—including mobile IV hydration, wellness vitamin infusions, functional health consultations, and preventive wellness programs—are not covered benefits under most commercial insurance plans. Insurance is generally designed to pay for the diagnosis and treatment of illness, rather than services focused on prevention, optimization, or wellness.

Many clients are able to use Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds for eligible medical expenses. Coverage varies by plan, so we recommend checking with your HSA/FSA administrator before your appointment. Upon request, we are happy to provide an itemized receipt that you can submit for reimbursement if your plan allows.

Mobile IV therapy delivers IV fluids, electrolytes, and vitamins directly to you in the comfort of your home, office, or hotel. Every treatment is administered by a registered nurse after a medical evaluation by a licensed healthcare provider.

Yes. Your safety is our top priority. Every client completes a health screening and telehealth consultation before treatment, and all IVs are administered by a registered nurse using sterile equipment and evidence-based protocols.

Schedule your appointment online or by phone. A registered nurse comes to your location, and after a brief medical consultation, administers your IV and monitors you throughout your treatment.

Most appointments last about 60–90 minutes, depending on the type of IV and your individual needs.

Common signs include headache, fatigue, dizziness, dry mouth, muscle cramps, dark urine, and feeling unusually thirsty. Severe dehydration may require immediate medical attention.

IV fluids contain sterile water and electrolytes that help restore hydration. Depending on your treatment, vitamins and nutrients may be added to support your wellness goals.

Everyone is different. Many people notice benefits for several days, while others experience improvements for a week or longer. Hydration status, illness, activity level, and overall health all play a role.

IV hydration may help support hydration and recovery from illnesses that cause dehydration, such as vomiting, diarrhea, or fever. It is not a cure for viral or bacterial infections and is not appropriate for every illness.

Yes. We primarily provide IV therapy for adults (18 years and older).

In select cases, we may treat adolescents ages 15–17 with the approval of our licensed healthcare provider. Because minors require additional safeguards, the following requirements apply:

  • A parent or legal guardian must be present for the entire appointment.
  • A parent or legal guardian must provide written consent before each treatment.
  • A telehealth medical evaluation is required before every visit.
  • Any IV fluids, vitamins, or nutrients must be individually approved by the prescribing provider based on the minor's age, medical history, and current condition.

Our top priority is providing safe, individualized care. If you're considering IV therapy for your teenager, we're happy to answer your questions and help determine whether treatment may be appropriate.

No. IV iron is a prescription medication that requires specialized medical evaluation, monitoring, and follow-up. We can help you understand when IV iron may be appropriate and discuss your options.
