Our history
Kingwood Functional Health & Mobile IV Services began with a career in nursing and a desire to serve people beyond the walls of a hospital.
My name is Amy Hellmers, and I have spent more than 26 years caring for patients through some of life's most important moments. From labor and delivery and newborn care to cardiac rehabilitation and wellness services, I have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals and families during both challenges and celebrations.
Over the years, I became increasingly interested in the factors that influence health long before someone develops a chronic illness. I found myself asking bigger questions about nutrition, lifestyle, stress, sleep, and the everyday choices that shape long-term wellness.
That curiosity led me to pursue additional training in functional health and wellness coaching, expanding my perspective beyond treating symptoms alone.
In 2025, I founded Kingwood Functional Health & Mobile IV Services as a way to combine my clinical nursing experience with a more personalized approach to wellness. What started as a passion for helping people improve their health has grown into a practice focused on meeting clients where they are—both figuratively and literally.
Today, I provide mobile IV hydration and wellness services throughout the Kingwood and Greater Houston area, bringing professional nursing care directly to clients in the comfort of their homes, hotels, workplaces, and event locations.
What began as a nursing career has evolved into a mission-driven business built on education, compassion, convenience, and a genuine desire to help people feel their best.
